Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Visit our registration page and provide your business information, including company name, trade registration number, contact details, and primary user credentials. Once submitted, our team will verify your business information. Verification is typically completed within one business day, after which you gain full access to the platform.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. We offer a 14-day free trial on our Professional plan that includes access to all core features: shipment management, quoting, invoicing, and document storage. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you can select a plan that fits your needs or contact our sales team for a custom arrangement.
How do I add team members to my account?
Account administrators can invite team members from the Settings page. Each team member can be assigned a role with specific permissions such as Administrator, Manager, Operations, or Viewer. This ensures every user has appropriate access to the features and data they need without compromising security.
Can I import existing data into Barket Salah?
Yes. We support bulk data import via CSV and Excel files for shipments, contacts, inventory, and financial records. Our onboarding team can also assist with data migration from your existing systems, including ERP platforms, spreadsheets, and legacy logistics software. Pricing and Billing
What pricing plans are available?
We offer three tiers: Starter for small businesses with up to 50 shipments per month, Professional for growing companies with up to 500 shipments per month with advanced analytics, and Enterprise for large organizations with unlimited shipments, dedicated support, and custom integrations. All plans include core features such as shipment tracking, document management, and invoicing. Visit our pricing page for detailed feature comparisons.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), bank transfers, and wire payments. Enterprise customers can arrange invoiced payments with net-30 terms. All transactions are securely processed through our PCI-compliant payment infrastructure.
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time, and new pricing will be prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. To adjust your plan, go to Settings and select Billing, or contact our support team for help.
Shipping and Tracking
How does real-time shipment tracking work?
Our platform integrates with major shipping lines, airlines, and ground carriers to provide real-time tracking updates. When a shipment is booked through Barket Salah, you can track its status from pickup to delivery, including port arrivals, customs clearance milestones, and estimated times of arrival. Notifications are automatically sent via email and in-platform alerts at every major milestone.
Which cargo types does Barket Salah support?
We support Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) ocean freight, air freight, ground freight (FTL and LTL), and multimodal shipments combining multiple transportation modes. Our quoting engine can provide rate quotes for all of these modes, and our tracking system supports visibility throughout the entire journey regardless of transportation type.
How do I request a freight quote?
Go to the Quotes section and fill in shipment details, including origin, destination, cargo type, weight, dimensions, and desired shipping mode. Our system will generate competitive rate quotes from our carrier network. You can compare options, choose the best price, and convert the quote directly into a shipment booking with a single click.
Security and Compliance
How does Barket Salah protect my data?
We employ multiple layers of security, including TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, and regular third-party security audits. Our infrastructure is hosted in enterprise-grade data centers with SOC 2 Type II compliance. We also conduct regular penetration testing and maintain a comprehensive incident response plan.
Is Barket Salah compliant with international trade regulations?
Yes. Our platform is designed to support compliance with Canadian and Turkish customs regulations, international trade sanctions (OFAC, EU sanctions), and export control regulations. We offer tools for compliant document generation, restricted party screening, and maintaining audit trails. However, ultimate compliance responsibility rests with the user, and we recommend consulting legal counsel for specific regulatory questions.
